Management of Company Details in TimeIPS
  1. How secure is the system? Are there different levels of access for the different types of employees I have?
  2. Does the system provide a system administrator access level that will allow my IT or technology department access to the system settings, without providing access to my personnel and employment data? Can I set up more than one employee to have system administration permissions?
  3. I have multiple departments in my company, with employees in each department. Will TimeIPS allow me to set up these departments and manage my employees according to each department?

How secure is the system? Are there different levels of access for the different types of employees I have?

The system uses login and password-protected administration, that includes a range of employee-specific access levels (set in the Administration level of the system) required to manage your personnel and business efficiently and securely.

 

Does the system provide a system administrator access level that will allow my IT or technology department access to the system settings, without providing access to my personnel and employment data? Can I set up more than one employee to have system administration permissions?

Yes. The number of system administrators (one or more) can be configured to meet your business and technology management needs. The activities of each administrator are tracked by the system for accountability. The permissions for each system administrator are set in the "Administration" section of TimeIPS.

 

I have multiple departments in my company, with employees in each department. Will TimeIPS allow me to set up these departments and manage my employees according to each department?

Yes. You can set up multiple departments within TimeIPS such as Accounting, Warehouse, Receiving, Finance, Operations, etc., according to the structure of your business or organization. Employees can then be assigned to their respective departments in order to facilitate management of personnel time and information by department.

 

Is there a place where I can document what Company property is allocated to an employee?

Yes. TimeIPS provides a comprehensive, easy-to-use structure for recording a wide range of information specific to each employee. Company property assigned to an employee is recorded under the “Equipment List” field for that employee. In this field, you can list any item(s), with or without serial numbers, issued to an employee. This is an ideal location to list employee-issued tools, equipment, laptops, etc.
